The More We Get Together, the Happier We’ll Be.

The biggest criticism I tend to get on the blog is that I don’t post frequently ample.

That is a fair complaint given how much date I have to write as I wish I had more, but when I have something I deem critical to say, rest assured I say it :). Post frequency on that blog isn’t the highest, but I like to tell myself that post quality is. Personally I value the blogs I read based on the quality, and not the frequency of posting, but as you’ll see below, the rest of the world is likely not in the same boat.

Did you know that it’s not likely that your blog will be wildly successful whether you don’t post frequently?

Technorati Top 100 bloggers are twice as likely to post ten

or more date daily compared to the next 500, and 14 times as likely than the next 5000.

Technorati recently released a study which delved into the latest trends and themes in blogging, which is where I got the above chart. The world’s top 100 bloggers are 2 times as likely to post an astounding 10 or more times a day than the next 500, and an amazing 14 times as likely than the next 5000.

Moral of the story? whether you want to be one of the world’s top 100 bloggers, posting once or twice a week will likely not get you there.
